Nuts 'n' Bolts

20th January	Adjusted eyebolts. Cleaned and painted inner drive area. Painted then fitted petrol tank. De-rusted cylinder fins.
21st January	Collected stainless steel exhaust, modified front axle ends and fitted them. Painted eyebolts, shock absorber. Cleaned engine/gearbox with wire brush and emery paper. De-rusted and polished rocker covers
22nd January	Disconnected handbrake quadrant. Cleaned carburettor, starter motor/solenoid, alternator, coil, pedal/brake reservoir assembly, handbrake quadrant, top of gearbox.
24th January	Blocked exhaust holes at front of carburettor. Cleaned engine/gearbox crevices. Painted cylinders with Pot Black. Painted starter, handbrake quadrant, brake levers with black Hammerite.
25th January	Finish cleaning engine crevices with circular wire brush. Painted inlet pipes of carburettor, dipstick tube matt black, wheels silver, points cover red, dipstick handle yellow, . Refitted carburettor. Fitted new brake connection on discs. Replaced starter.
26th January	Fitted central brake line. Cleaned dirty gaiters.
27th January	Re-fixed middle O/S gaiter. Fitted front brake pipes. Cleaned discs.
28th January	Collected various items from Lomax: stainless steel domed nuts for exhaust manifold, 5 gaskets, oil cooler bracket, flexible oil pipe set, alternator mounting bracket, alternator drive belt, coil bracket, headlight mounting (chrome), internal scuttle frame, seat belt anchorage, pedal conversion bracket, oil filler/breather, fan pulley, filler hose, breather pipe, filler cap. Removed and renewed nearside outer drive-shaft gaiter, emptied oil from sump, removed, cleaned and painted oil feed pipes, removed, cleaned and adapted oil cooler/flexible pipes.
31st January	Removed oil filter and fitted new one. Cleaned and painted oil filler, alternator and coil brackets, seatbelt plates and rods, and fan pulley. Replaced fan pulley and oil feed pipes. Removed carburettor to replace gaskets. Fitted new gaskets on exhaust manifold. Removed fuel tank. Fitted fuel line from tank to pump. Fitted fuel filler and breather pipes.
1st Feb	Fitted carburettor, alternator, alternator belt, coil, oil filler and gasket.
2nd Feb	Fixed axle tube contents with expandable foam. Fitted air filter and pipe.
